This decision has stirred considerable concern and dissatisfaction among the public, leading to the formation of a community self-help group to voice their protest. In their heartfelt plea, they have even composed a beautifully melodic song, a testament to their deep connection to this cherished natural space.
We sincerely hope that Mayor Hou Yu-ih of New Taipei City will hear this call. We urge you to halt this misguided policy before it progresses further in the wrong direction.
